This site started as a garden site and evolved into a personal growth site. I plan to add garden content (there is a lot) throughout the winter, however I like where my improvement endeavor is taking me as the days grow cold. By next spring, you will have a lot of helpful garden content to wade through, and journal entries if peeking into my inner world holds any interest for you.
Challenges today. I bit the inside of my lip. Went over calorie count. Still blowing off logging. Future self journaling is my one success today.
What feels really nourishing in your life? Taking care of others in my home. I feel enriched by my work as a housewife. The period of time where I was a stay at home mom to little ones was one of the happiest years of my life. I feel like a cup filled up when people seek advice or have questions about some unique experiences I have had. Planting seeds, whether an idea or my garden. I am born to grow things. Aren’t we all?
Someone could make some money reselling her sexy little numbers. Or making that robe into a short flirty summer dress (do THAT). Can a person have too many cute summer dresses? Seriously, if you watch the show, you will see that her primary wardrobe is nighties, nightgowns, robes and day pajamas. All in feminine colors.
A tense situation I dealt with last week is resolved. Even better, is that I said what I needed to say, and then dropped it. Even more astonishingly, I then let it go. After the exchange, I felt ok with what was said, followed through with my desire to not extend any drama, actually for real for real dropped it and was no longer thinking about it by bedtime. Future self journaling is definitely helping.
I really like these 30 day challenges. Even when I am not as adherent as I would like, just having them swimming in my brain keeps me more focused and positive, more engaged.
