My Ten Year Goal is Maintaining a Healthy Diet
- Keep reminding self of the core principles of the D.A.S.H. and MIND diet lifestyles.
- Continue to strive for at least 7 servings of fruits and veggies a day.
- Have a lengthy catalogue of veggie heavy and fiber heavy recipes
- Source most of my meals from my garden between July and October.
- Red meats consumed once a week
- Seek recipes from other people as a source of sustenance and connection
- Find a red wine I like

Grateful For:
-Omicron is super contagious but so far still far less deadly. Who can’t be grateful for that?
-Still nobody in my circle has had Covid, or if we did, it was asymptomatic. We are all vaxx’d and boosted if we qualified. So far, so good. I wonder if I’ll get it eventually, but if we are all gonna get it, I’ll take the mildest version THANK YOU.
-It’s below zero wind-chill and I didn’t see any kids walking home from school. Just hurts my heart seeing that. I want to drive all of them home. I used to be that little kid who walked home in those temps.
