Future Self Journaling, favorite childhood books. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, by Betty Smith. I felt like the protagonist, a shy little bookworm. I lived at the local library. First thing I would always do when settling into the fiction reading nook is get to the rotating bookcase, then find and turn over that damn Jaws book, as that cover that scared me.

If I cannot communicate with love, I will continue to isolate when those moods strike. Truth used to be 100% of my communication, I would like to communicate from a place of truth less, if I cannot keep my mouth shut. 75% truth and the other 25% silence
The journaling is part of a 30 Day Challenge I started over a year ago. I consider that a component of the Future Self Journaling process. The gratefulness notes near the bottom of each self improvement post is also a specific and helpful part of Future Self Journaling.
Honoring deep friendships is living in beauty. Being Grateful for the innumerable gifts given to me by this life is living life in a beautiful way.
My Focus on The Spouse is going better than it did last week. I was more intentional seeking out time to spend with him when it worked for him. I have more free time and flexibility in my day, so it makes sense I do the work to make the room.
Having the time to play and explore is life changing. Healing can be achieved through both play and creative expression. I am blessed with more time than many in my world, which I use to garden, and paint, take photographs and write, beyond future self journaling.
