I live on a hill in the 'burbs, where I always get a front row seat to some interesting storms. I have a pup I adore, family I mostly adore and a garden sanctuary I am obsessed with, so I write about it. My garden persona is curiosity and encouraging one to try whatever it is that moves you. Failure is but a step on the path to success. There are a number of ways to successfully do that one thing. There are so many variables, I hesitate greatly to *tell* people exactly how to do a garden thing, even though I have been gardening personally and professionally for years. For fun I read books, play wordle, bore people to tears talking about my favorite things and watch all sorts of television. Crap TV and documentaries, comedies and news. For self improvement I future self journal, do mind maps and gratefulness exercises, some of which I post here as a series. People don't read them, which I am ok with. It's keeping a promise to myself. I'm not an open book, but I'm happy to show you the title of the chapters. ~My favorite color is every shade of blue.~

My Focus on The Spouse is going better than it did last week. I was more intentional seeking out time to spend with him when it worked for him. I have more free time and flexibility in my day, so it makes sense I do the work to make the room.

Having the time to play and explore is life changing. Healing can be achieved through both play and creative expression. I am blessed with more time than many in my world, which I use to garden, and paint, take photographs and write, beyond future self journaling.
