Rituals for Living Dreambook Journaling today is Chapter Seven of the Rituals For Living Dreambook, Psychological and Spiritual Health. Questions 10-13. Answer the questions as your future self three years from now, as though you have attained your goal. A prompt for future self journaling.
Questions
10. How do you feel about the state of the world and your place in it? THAT’s not a loaded question. I feel hopeful. Seems the trash is taking itself out. What is that famous saying? When your enemy is busy destroying themselves, shut up and stand back? Not sure how much hope is warranted. In three years I hope I am correct. I have no control over the state of the world. I am but one vote. One voice.
11. How is your self esteem? I am healthy and feel enriched by my circle. My self esteem is good, and more importantly, I have done the work, making behavior changes to elevate the self esteem of others.
12. How do you feel about the new day when you wake up in the morning? Energized with a sexy poke. Satisfied with a solid 7.5 hours sleep. Smiling because my Garmin reflected another day of good stats resulting from good choices.
13. How do you feel about dying. Happy it hasn’t happened yet.
Grateful For:
-Almost 7k steps today so far! That is a lot for a cold winter day.
-Dinner was lovely, in particular the huge juicy pear that counted as two servings of fruit.
-A fun convo with the kiddo. So smart and funny!
Godspeed y’all!

The journaling is part of a 30 Day Challenge I started over a year ago. I consider that a component of the Future Self Journaling process. The gratefulness notes near the bottom of each self improvement post is also a specific and helpful part of Future Self Journaling.
