Rituals for Living Dreambook Journaling today is Chapter Seven of the Rituals For Living Dreambook, Psychological and Spiritual Health. Questions 1-3. Answer the questions as your future self three years from now, as though you have attained your goal.
- What percentage of your waking life do you feel happy? Does being content count as happy? If so, 80%. The other 20% I am too busy and pre-occupied to be settled. I think the writers of this book should ask the reader to define happy and to get deep about how realistic or valuable being constantly happy is.
- Describe your outlook on life and the quality of your thoughts. With better health comes a better outlook on life. If I am active, healthy and have a good relationship with my (healthy) children and spouse, the outlook is very good. The quality of my thoughts will continue to be on a satisfying trajectory. My thoughts will focus on seeking goodness in myself and others, enforcing boundaries and include persistent thoughts of gratefulness.
- What percentage of your communications come from a place of truth and love? How does this affect you and others in your life? If I cannot communicate with love, I will continue to isolate when those moods strike. Truth used to be 100% of my communication, I would like to communicate from a place of truth less, if I cannot keep my mouth shut. 75% truth and the other 25% silence, the truth is kept to myself, not communicated. Love, I would like to speak from a place of love 90% of the time. Others feel comfortable in my presence. I continue to work on listening more than feeling like I *have* to let everyone know I am the smartest in the room, that I deserve to be there. Gosh what a hard question.
Grateful For:
-Traffic gods hooking me up. Green lights when I needed them!
-All the gifts under the tree. I think everyone gets spoiled this year!
-Great news on Omicron, all indications continue that it’s milder than Delta! EDIT: YES! Currently, it’s March now, cases, deaths and hospitalizations are dropping. Such a blessing!
Godspeed Y’all!

The journaling is part of a 30 Day Challenge I started over a year ago. I consider that a component of the Future Self Journaling process. The gratefulness notes near the bottom of each self improvement post is also a specific and helpful part of Future Self Journaling.
