Large Heart Tiger Stripe is as delicious as it is stunning to look at. It’s a large beefsteak type tomato, exceptionally juicy, more soft than firm. On the sweeter side of traditional beefsteak flavor.
The seeds germinated within a few days, within the expected time for a tomato. The seedlings were very healthy, went through the hardening process with no fussiness. The production was average for a beefsteak tomato plant. No disease issues at all throughout the lifecycle of the plant. In my climate, this is a mid-season ripening fruit, with production and plant health good until the typical end of the growing season.
