Five reasons to Make Health Choices
- Lingerie I almost fit into.
- Jeans I almost fit into.
- Dresses I almost fit into.
- Shirts I almost fit into.
- Skirts I almost fit into.
Yeah, I was doing some closet cleaning. I have some of the cutest clothes!! Just fit a bit too tight. I could add up the value of the clothes I currently can’t wear, but for my mental health I won’t today.
Back on track with intermittent fasting. It’s going well, completing a 21 and 20 hour fast respectively. Diet good, not great. I am staying at or under calories, but need to eat more fruit and veggies. I have been talking at least one short walk a day and have met the Garmin step goals four days in a row, although not my personal goal. Future self definitely going to benefit from this.
The Sps and I have a date night coming up. Will be us shopping for the last of the Christmas gifts he needs to purchase, a Costco trip and eating somewhere. I really like going through drive-thru, parking and eating with my music blasting. I know my car is super clean and music! Less stress on any restaurant workers too, no cleaning up after me. We chose a week night to avoid the worst of the crowds, shorter lines for drive-thru and Costco…gawd. I don’t do Costco when it’s busy.
Grateful For:
-the prettiest Christmas tree! It’s been three years since we have had one, Christmas 2017. The lovely tree is covered in candy canes and snowflakes and shiny glass ornaments. I have quite a few collectible Old World Christmas ornaments. It’s so festive and sparkly.
-snow is melting. I can get the ice scraped up off the walkways. Tomorrow it might get over fifty degrees and a possibility of thunderstorms. In December. In the Midwest, in zone 5. Even a chance of tornadoes just 25 miles SW of us. This is October/April weather.
-I have an episode of Below Deck to watch. Have y’all seen the pictures Dani released on Instagram of her and JL’s baby? She’s too cute, both of them!
Godspeed Y’all.

The journaling is part of a 30 Day Challenge I started over a year ago. I consider that a component of the Future Self Journaling process. The gratefulness notes near the bottom of each self improvement post is also a specific and helpful part of Future Self Journaling.
