Bridgerton.
Opulent dresses, a British period piece, exaggerated chivalry? Feminine manipulation disguised as “wiles”, the bastards and the secrets? Wouldn’t you just die to wear those deceptively demure nightgowns, the laced corsets and blue brocades Daphne wears? She wears all shades of blue under the sun, and all breathtakingly lovely. Nothing I wore at that same age was even mildly alluring. I wore a lot of flannel.
I’m all about Bridgerton. I guess I am late to the party, but I really enjoy a catch-up binge watch soon before the next season starts. Season Two debuts March 25th. I did the same thing with Game of Thrones. Once I decide to watch a series, it’s usually during the first season. With GoT, I binge watched two seasons and then watched the third when it premiered as normal, right after the binge.
The Red Wedding was an actual surprise to me, because I didn’t follow the show online, nor had I read the books. Just decided to watch it one day, got hooked and powered through. So glad I kept myself in the dark. I love good surprises.
Grateful for:
-January is starting off productive and healthy. I’m feeling very goal oriented and full of follow-thru.
-Full cupboards. Seriously blessed.
-the fruit I am enjoying these days. Free pineapple from the store, kiwi, red grapefruit, blackberries for jello and fresh crisp blueberries. Makes up for no fresh summer watermelon and peaches.
Godspeed Ya’ll!

The journaling is part of a 30 Day Challenge I started over a year ago. I consider that a component of the Future Self Journaling process. The gratefulness notes near the bottom of each self improvement post is also a specific and helpful part of Future Self Journaling. The Rituals for Live Dreambook was given to me by my children, so why not add this to my blogging/future self journaling time?
