Series – My Future Self Journaling – 12F – Rituals for Living Dreambook

Chapter Five of the Rituals For Living Dreambook, Physical Wellness. Questions 1-3. Answer the question as your future self three years from now, as though you have attained your goal.

  1. Describe your beautiful body. My body is pain free, with good posture, clear skin and envious flexibility. The scars remain, but the function is above average for my age. My weight is healthy. My kidneys are not stressing me out. My memory is good. The parts of me that are supposed to be colorful are still colorful!
  2. How do you feel in your body when you wake up in the morning? Grateful. Movements are smooth. Almost graceful even! My mind is clear and ready for the day, after my usual morning stretches in bed. The blessings of a healthy body are acknowledged and celebrated through movement and healthy choices.
  3. How do you feel in your body at the end of a long day? Summer tired. I feel just tired enough, because my body has spent the day moving. But never so tired that I can’t share it. My body at the end of the day is ready for another hug, ready to serve and accept service. It is ready to settle and within a bit, sleep well.

    Grateful For:

-moving past my initial horror at answering these questions! I don’t look ahead so my mind is fresh when I get them.

-no Covid. Booster shot side effects were damn near non-existent and didn’t last.

-a RIDICULOUSLY productive weekend for The Sps and myself!

    Godspeed y’all!

Quick recap. The journaling is part of a 30 Day Challenge I started almost a year ago. I consider that a component of the Future Self Journaling process. The gratefulness notes near the bottom of each self improvement post is also a specific and helpful part of Future Self Journaling. The Rituals for Live Dreambook was given to me by my children, so why not add this to my blogging/future self journaling time? Not sponsored, I am not compensated for any of this…I might add an affiliate link, someday. But nothing yet.
