Community Connection Chapter Four. Questions 4-6. Answer questions as though your ideal has been attained. The Dreambook is one of the many ways I daily Future Self Journal.
4. How do your friends respond when you are having a difficult time?
They reach out with honesty and words of wisdom from their own experiences. I do not want to be forgotten or ignored. A random check-in is always appreciated.
5. How do you and your friends support one another?
Advice, making me laugh. Bringing some humor and light when my friends need the mental break. Making me think. I send letters and reach out to check in and appreciate the same. I remember special dates (I am currently very weak in this regard).
6. What needs of yours are met by your friends?
My need to be acknowledged. My friends speak my love language, verbal affirmation. I have a strong desire for deep conversation, the type that sticks in your mind and processes for a while. My special events are remembered. They care about other aspects of my life.
Grateful For:
-productivity, I processed almost 200 photos yesterday. Download, label and upload where needed.
-I am making a new dish today, a southern Indian dish with innumerable steps. Exciting! Grateful I am far more open about trying new things.
-Meeting another productivity goal for a while now, do one task each day I am putting off. I procrastinate like it’s my job or a necessary trait to live, like oxygen. So seems like a little thing to not allow myself to put one task aside, but it is having the effect of getting more done. I also think about the task more, so the awareness is helpful.
Godspeed Y’all.

Quick recap. The journaling is part of a 30 Day Challenge I started almost a year ago. I consider that a component of the Future Self Journaling process. The gratefulness notes near the bottom of each self improvement post is also a specific and helpful part of Future Self Journaling. The Rituals for Live Dreambook was given to me by my children, so why not add this to my blogging/future self journaling time?
The End.
