Rituals for Living Dreambook Journaling today is Chapter Six of the Rituals For Living Dreambook, Creation, Exploration and Play. Questions 1-3. Answer the questions as your future self three years from now, as though you have attained your goal.
1.What percent of your life is reserved for playing, exploring and creating? I’d say, 50%. It’s almost all of my writing, some of my cooking and is a significant critical factor in my relationships. Gosh I hope I never lose playfulness.
2. How do you travel and to where? Most of my traveling days are behind me. I have a respectable number of stamps on my passport. I do travel to music, art and comedy events within daytrip distance. A future trip to Alaska is in the cards. I travel by car, I love road-trips. So much fun!
3. What forms of creative expression do you engage in? Oh boy. I sew, but only functionally. I made another apron with a cell phone pocket. I write, and am not as creative as writer as I used to be. The better my mental health, the less interesting a writer I am; I’ll need to make peace with that by three years. I really appreciate my photography, it’s a gentle outlet and allows me to connect with my garden. I am a creative gardener; I try new things, run experiments, gush about it to anyone who will listen. I try to be an engaging and playful wife and a less strict mother. I paint. My work is all amateur yet it serves me. I play the drums for fun. I still sing everywhere I love the song.
Grateful for:
-questions that make me think.
-the 10 inches of snow we got is melting! in mid December…in USDA zone 5!!
-no Covid for me or anyone in my circle. Omicron variant is in 25 states as of this morning. So far still holding that it is less deadly. I’ll take it!
Godspeed y’all!

The journaling is part of a 30 Day Challenge I started over a year ago. I consider that a component of the Future Self Journaling process. The gratefulness notes near the bottom of each self improvement post is also a specific and helpful part of Future Self Journaling.
