Series – Future Self Journaling – 11E – Rituals for Living Dreambook

Third attempt to begin, with intent and mindfulness, to start this workbook. https://dreambook.vision/ Rituals for Living Dreambook written by Peter Borten and Briana Borten. My kids bought me this book early last year, this is not a sponsored, compensated nor affiliate linked book.

This first set of questions comes from the “first” chapter in the Ritual for Living book, Connect.

The first question always gets me stuck. What are you longing for most in life?

I must have come a long way in the past year, as the scary question brought forth an easy answer. I want to have a deeper and more enriching relationship with my children and others. I have a hope that those who have lost faith in me can see the work I have done in my life and within my world and am a better person. I’d like to see a goddess reflected in my husband’s eyes.

Scary Question Two: When you are at the end of life, what do you want to have accomplished? Leaving a wealth of happy memories for those who love me. Left a legacy of self-sufficiency and hope to those I leave behind to whom independence doesn’t come easy. I want to leave some sort of passive income to ensure monetary care for my children lives beyond me. I want to be mourned for the person I am rather than the person I once was.

Question Three: If you knew you had one year left to live, would there be anything you’d want to fix or clean up? Yes. There is a miles long construction zone ahead regarding a relationship with one sibling. While there may be a legitimate debate how much a traumatized child can truly be responsible for, I contributed to the damage. I have work to do but with the road blocked off, my role is to respect boundaries and wait for an opening that may never ever come. On the other side, I need to push a bit harder to provide more security to a disabled kid who is scared of independence. Edit: a lot of progress has been made in this regard.

I would also make sure all the legal concerns related to death are covered. Wills, advance directives, financial concerns ect. Post nuptial agreement.

Grateful for:

-MY NEW CAR IS HERE and the temp tags are on it and the SiriusXM is all set up, channels favorited and the mats are in and it’s wiped out and I drove it! Is a used car, a sweet 2019 that only had one owner and someone who never had anyone sit in the backseat ever, judging by its pristine condition.

-The Telegram gifs. I have two favorites. The Samuel L Jackson cold hard stare and one I can only share on my other site. It involves picnic condiments and a certain act you might see in adult entertainment. Has no nudity. Just hot dogs, catsup and mustard.

-Dude 2021 was a good movie!

Godspeed Ya’ll!
