Series – Future Self Journal – 7B – Recipe Hunting – Vegetarian

I kicked ass yesterday and today. I completed a 25 hour fast. It actually was far easier than my usual fasts. I shoot for completing an 18/6 intermittent fast, pushing for a 20/4 if it works with the day. This time, I ate all my calories between 10 and 11 AM and didn’t eat again until noon today. It’s the first time I ate earlier in the day instead of later. It got difficult later in the evening as I am a night eater, but not as bad as it got when I eat later usually. I hope this isn’t a fluke. Godspeed to me.

We have eaten a lot more vegetarian cuisine lately and I’d like to keep trying newer foods. We already eat quite a bit of S and SE Asian foods, so we are branching out. We already eat a lot of pasta. Found a spanish omelette. I bet that is amazing*. But I need more ideas. The Sis eats vegan but what I have had is unappealing. I don’t like mushrooms, which seems to cross off a lot of vegetarian meals. Maybe I’ll go Greek some more, see if there is a dish I missed.

Grateful for:

1. Even having food and having the pure luxury of obsessing over menu planning and grocery shopping.

2. Yet another COVID free day for my little circle. Neighbor, currently undergoing treatment for cancer, is having a party in his house right now. I just can’t with some of these Covid Mary motherfuckers. They are proud maga, so obviously nobody is wearing those hoaxy commie socialist hippy masks to protect the cancer patient or themselves.

They wonder why I stay in my house. Sweet baby Jesus I love my house.

3. Grateful The Sps handled a pain in the ass computer chore.

4. Homeschooling going so well, kiddo got another good grade on a test and seems to be ok with the current arrangement. I know he misses his friends, so I look forward to the day I am grateful he is back at school.

Godspeed Y’all

*the spanish omelette was not amazing. I just don’t like omelettes.
