Series – Future Self Journal – 28B – Workbook – Dream Book

For Christmas last year, the kids bought me a spendy dreambook/workbook. It starts out heavy, with deep, thoughtful question right from the first page. I actually yelped and put it away. Apparently for a year. Link to the Rituals for Living. https://dreambook.vision/

Yesterday, I started two books. The above referenced dream book and a CBT workbook, with chapters for each disorder CBT is shown to improve. I did not pay enough attention, as I didn’t figure out I was completing the Depression chapter until I wrapped it up. I was wondering why much of it did not apply to me. Feels good, actually, to know one serious issue doesn’t apply and the next chapter, Insomnia, doesn’t either. I sometimes do not get to sleep until early morning, but that is due to other factors, as it isn’t racing thoughts keeping me up.

Grateful for:

1. Work books!!! The limited experience I have with talk therapy was *awful*. I find literal self-help and finding my own resources has done more for me over time than any discussions with strangers assigned to assist me.

2. The snow stopping before it gets dark so I can get all the walks and driveway shoveled, and burn some significant calories! Hardcore, no snow blower. Just me and the shovel.

3. We picked up some spinach fettuccini to try something new. Not only did it taste amazing, but it has fewer calories and more fiber and vitamins per ounce. Score!!!

Godspeed Y’all!
