Series – Future Self Journal – 10C – Half Assing It.

It’s playoff weekend and I wish to do as little as possible. I did not log nor start the day with a fruit. I ate like crap and watched football all afternoon and enjoyed some quality time with The Sps. No excuse, I feel like what I did was worth ignoring my plan. That’s the problem, I used to be far more driven about things, now if I fall off plan, I shrug.

Maybe I need a spanking? I know my health will eventually send a stronger message than it has been. But for now, naps, snuggles, watching tv and eating the food I like is obscuring the healthy thoughts as they struggle to rise.

I did make a point to end the day with an organic raison bran, and I enjoyed damn near a third of a head of cauliflower as a snack. So the day wasn’t a complete wash.

Grateful for:

1. Not only having a gorgeous head of cauliflower in the fridge, but knowing how to store it so it has lasted for three weeks.
2. A new fridge that allows me to keep fruits and veggies fresh long (plus drying off and wrapping my greens).
3. Keeping up with weblogging even when I have shit to say.
4. Water. I love water.
