These seeds were a free seed added to my order in 2021 for tomato seeds from Renaissance Farm. There isn’t much information on this tomato beyond the vendor, so I thought some might find it helpful to write a quick overview of this tomato. Not sponsored.
This tomato is very good. It is an average sized larger tomato, within the range of most slicing tomatoes, weighing in from 10oz to about a pound. As you can see from the photograph, it’s a striking a addition to a harvest basket. Red and orange. The skins are average thickness. This tomato is meaty, a solid slicer. The plant is average in production, with zero pest and disease issues. In fact, it was one of the strongest tomato plants in my garden.
The flavor is the perfect balance between sweet and acid, with a slightly rich tomato flavor. Delicious!
The only negative is that only two of the seeds germinated, which is unusual for my germination method.
I might have 99 problems, but germinating seeds ain’t one. Definitely an issue with the seeds.
All in all, I would grow this again, and since I have no more seeds, I am considering purchasing seeds and growing this tomato this season. I’ll make room, I always do!
This tomato is sold by Curtis at Renaissance Farm.
The End.
