I play Wordle, a Working List of One Vowel Words.

I actually play through the app, so I can play unlimited rounds whenever I wish too. The Sps and I play together most nights before bed, passing the phone back and forth each round.

It’s fun because we have different strategies. He tries to figure the word out immediately. My strategy is to use unused letters for the first 2-3 rounds to flush out all the letters in the word. I like words with common combinations.

So far, it seems my strategy is more successful. HA~

For instance, my first three rounds look thusly:

DRAWL

FIGHT

POEMS

If I need a 4th round, using all new letters, BUNNY works.

~or, to get out all the vowels~

EMAIL

GROUP

Yet, generally, I push to get out all the consonants. Here is a working list of my favorite one-vowel words. I’ll add to over time.

GHOST

YACHT

DRAWL

WORST

CHEWS

THROB

FORTH

PERCH

MILKS

SPERM

LURCH

LUNCH/BUNCH/MUNCH

SPELT

CHUNK/PLUNK

CHALK

NIGHT/FIGHT/RIGHT et al

KILNS

….to be continued
