This dahlia was the second dahlia to bloom in my garden this year. Moderately prolific, it is the shade of red I was looking for. I try to avoid the purple reds. I adore this saturated deep red. The blooms were a tad larger than I expected, about 5′ across. The plant was very top heavy and about 4′ tall.
