I thought I knew. I thought they would be different enough for me to tell the difference. Whoops!
FIRST: The dahlia below was not prolific. It gave me a single bloom, about 1-2″ across. The plant was very bushy and did not grow over 2′ tall. Very pretty. I thought the coral red with the lemon yellow in the inner petal was unique and quite lovely.

Second: This dahlia above was the most prolific dahlia in the garden. It bloomed early and often. The blooms were approximately 4″ across and the plant was 4′ high. Blooms were vibrant early and late, and washed out in the middle of the season. It was also quite pretty, and a touch pinker toned than the other dahlia.
